My mother who is 78 years old has a little fall in the garden two days ago. She has a gash on topp of her left eye. We took about 5-10 minutes to stop the bleeding from the gash, although it isn't very deep. There was a little bit of blood from her nose but no blood from her mouth. She also has a small scraping on her chin. She has a history of minor falls due to fluctuations in her sodium levels and pressure. She seemed fine yesterday but last night (actually 5 a.m. today) she coughed up 3-4 clots of blood and there was a bit of blood that came through her nose. Again, she appears to be alright but should we take her to hospital please?
