My dog has been sick throwing up after she would eat (about 4 hrs after) we had her spayed in Sept and she had been sick at her stomach since then. She is about 1 1/2 yrs old and we took her in. She was being to come in heat when our vet did her surgery. The vet did a x-ray with contrast to see if she had a blockage but did not see any, but the contrast was slow moving thru her stomach.
They did blood work and said my dog has pancreatitis. her levels in the blood was very high,one was 3000 and one was 6000. Her pancreas was enlarged and they have started an IV and did surgery to flush out her system. Now they wanted to send off a biopsy to see why she had pancreatitis.
my question is : can a dog have pancreatitis and not be cancer? she was doing just fine until she was sprayed.
