What Causes Foamy Vomiting After A Dog Bite?

My son was bit by our family dog, i took him into emergencies and they gave him antibiotics. After he got sick with a cough and is throwing up white foam. He hasn t really ate anything. Just wondering if the bite can have something to do with the white foam.

Hello,my name is dr.Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern.
I think that the situation is because he has not eaten well meanwhile he is taking antibiotics.Antibiotics should be taken 2 hours after a meal.
Some advices that I can give to you are:     
-drink water to stay hydrated
-Avoid solid foods of any kind until vomiting stops
-Eat bland crackers
-eat small meals
