My doctor is wanting me to go on a statin drug and currently is wanting me to do Pravastatin. I am very hesitant to begin a Staten drug as I already have fibromialgia, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis all of which are under relative control at this time and I can't imagine taking a drug which is going to make me feel like all of these conditions have flared up again when the doctor stays he only sees a small calcium plaque on coronary artery. is it really worth the chance of having increased pain as I've noticed in all the studies the effectiveness of Staten in women is moderate to low
