My daughter is 45,she had an endoscopy 3 weeks ago,had to have her esphogus stretched and went home after the procedure. She started having severe pain in her chest and was taken to the ER,she had to be admitted into the hospital and had pain meds for 2 days and was released from the hospital. The doctor said she had a little bleeding from the tissue in her esphogus which maybe caused the pain. She also has a hiatal hernia and maybe acid reflux. After the procedure, she was still having problems swallowing and felt like she had a lump in her throat. She also found out she had food allergies, she is still having a problem eating and swallowing and has white foamy spitum and has to spit often, could this be from acid reflux?
