My Daughter 6 Years Old Was Admitted For Pneumonia In

My daughter 6 years old was admitted for Pneumonia in July 2015. She was admitted for 6 days and later discharged well. Later, when she started with her school he got a call from her principal informing that my daughter couldn't see the white board (blurred vision). Prior to admission no such complain and she could see the board from far distance. we did a eye check up and both eye found to have high power (Right 350, Left 300). She has started wearing specs. Is this due to her illness or any side effect of her medications? is this a temporary condition? Any changes her vision to be normal? Is this a common complain post her illness?
