My Brother Age 53. Had A Ultrasound On His Heart

My brother age 53. Had a ultrasound on his heart and it showed 25% is working with an enlarged left side of his heart. He is over weight and has a an irregular heart beat out of rythum for over 5 years that cannot be corrected

He is very tired. What can we expect to happen? He has been told surgery is not an option for a new heart.

Should he see a heart specialist? For any procedure or medicine that can extend his life? Or do we let nature take its course?

Based in the above, if we are unable do nothing, will he likely live a few months or a few days? Or a few years.

Thanks. A concerned sister
