If that's what your blood pressure is normally, then it's fine. If until yesterday, your blood pressure was 130/90 then it's a bit more of a problem! If it's a problem for you, like you always get faint when you stand up, or you get out of breath easily, then you might want to do something about it. If not, you just might be one of the people who has a naturally lower pressure and it's nothing to worry about. I've got a lower heart rate than a lot of people. I was in hospital once and I kept setting the alarm off cos my rate dropped below 40 when I was asleep even though for me, that was completely normal.

4days ago, I awakened, unable to walk normally. I felt like a drunken sailor on a rocky ship. I went to an urgent care facility; my admission BP was 175/105. Subsequent BPs were similar. I was given an oral med for the BP which lowered it to 110/75. A CAT scan showed sinusitis. An EKG was normal as was a blood sugar. The conclusion was Labyrinthitis/Vestibulitis. I was sent home on Amoxicillon, Antivert and BPmonitoring. I am feeling better. I had had a gunky cold and cough 3 weeks ago but was symptom free at the time of this episode. I feel that the sinuses are clearing but my BP is still high. (154/98 even with my BP medication, Ramipril 10 mg daily, My BP has never been over 145/90 but has been creeping up so was put on BP medication. The higher BP is worrisome. Have you seen increased BPs with a sinusitis?

Hi I have a BP monitor at home . Right now my reading is 130/86. I have a Bicuspic valve. Today I have been put on a low dose of BP medication after my clinic measured my BP at 151/113. This was taken immediately on arrival at the clinic after walking from the car park and a rather stressfull car journey. Am I right to be concerned about the starting medication on this evidence? .. I have recently had my personel BP monitor calybrated ..AGE 50 thank you

My father has multiple myeloma. he s on his third month of the BiRD treatment right now with Revlmid, biaxin and dexamethazone. his BP has been low this week and tonight has dropped to 101/53. he s weak and can t keep his eyes open and has sever leg cramps. He s been fairly active since on the treatment since this particular regimen can cause blood clots. He s coherent and not dizzy at all. we can t get him to drink much, but we are thinking maybe the low bp is due to dehydration. we can t get ahold of his doctor or nurse right now. should we worry? is there anything we can do to make it come up?
