My 25 year old son has been sick for the past week. He hasn't eaten and was vomiting every 20 minutes or so for several days. He went to urgent care, he was given a test for strep throat which came back negative. They prescribed him Zofran which has helped with the vomiting but his throat is very sore and he sounds very nasally but can breathe through his nose fine and his neck is also sore. I've given him honey, & ibuprofen. Throat is scratchy, burns and gets the urge to cough a lot.
He's been drinking Gatorade diluted with water, he managed to eat a couple fruit cups (peaches) in light syrup. What else can I do to help him? Could there be something else going on?
