MRI Of Dorsolumbar Spine Done. What Does Report Suggest?

Dear sir,

Please find my MRI report. Is every this is alright?

MRI DORSO-LUMBAR SPINE


MRI of Dorsolumbar Spine performed using T1WSE and TSE-T2W sequences in sagittal and axial planes and STIR sequence in sagittal plane.

OBSERVATIONS:

Mildly reduced height of D9, D10 and D11 vertebral bodies noted. It shows hyperintense signal on T1W images and hypointense on STIR images.

Mild posteiror disc bulge indenting thecal sac at D9-D10 and D10-D11 levels.

No significant ligamentum flavum and facetal hypertrophy seen.
No significant lumbar canal stenosis seen.

Pedicles appear normal. No evidence of any pre or paravertebral collection.

Visualized spinal cord appears normal with no evidence of any intradural lesion.

Cord ends at D12-L1 level.

IMPRESSION:

Mildly reduced height of D9, D10 and D11 vertebral bodies with fatty replacement of marrow -- suggest old post traumatic changes.

Mild posteiror disc bulge indenting thecal sac at D9-D10 and D10-D11 levels.

Findings of MRI suggests degenerative changes in the form of mild posterior disc bulge at D9-D10 and D10-D11 levels.
Disc bulge occurs due to weakness in annulus fibrosis with age or it may due to trauma also.
Mild reduced height of D9,D10 and D11 vertebral bodies with fatty replacement of bone marrow ,it may be due to previous trauma.
