General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

It is hard to tell not being able to see it.
The most probable reason of this lump is Bartholin cyst. This is a benign lesion which appears due to vagina gland obstruction. As the gland is obstructed, it becomes inflamed. This causes the pain, swelling and can make it larger.
This lump has nothing to do with sexual activity. And it can not be treated at home.
The best treatment of it is an incision and drainage. Gynecologist should do that.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
