Leaking Of Urine After Urination. Relief From Flotral Tablets. Any Side Effect From Medication?
Sir, i went to a doctor 1 month ago as I am suffering from a problem that a minute urine drop leaks after three or four minutes from urination. The doctor recommended me one tablet of flotral 10 mg daily. I took it for 1 month and I believe the problem diminished. Now I have stopped taking medicine without consulting the doctor although he had told me to revisit him after
one month. I am 25 years old. Is this medicine safe for me? Could it diminish my libido as other alpha blocker medicines do given my age(I mean that is not a good thing at this age as you can understand).

Flortal contains Alfuzosin which is used for the symptoms of enlarged prostate as urinary frequency,urgency,weak stream etc and since it relaxes the bladder muscles ,so it helps in proper urination.
It is associated with side effects as low BP,headache,dizziness,respiratory infection,fatigue etc.
Since this drug is specifically given to patients suffering from prostate enlargement.i don't understand the purpose of this medicine in you.
Your symptoms are typically anxiety related.
I would advise you to consult a urologist for the proper diagnosis of your cause and treatment.
There is no point taking this medicine.
