Why Have I Been Having Pain On The Left Side Of My Neck Radiating Down The Shoulder?

I ve been having pain On the left side of my neck down to my shoulder and I ve had 2 nerve burns thinking that the pain was from a buldge disk. But the pain hasn t gone away. My grandpa had lump note cancer Thyroid cancer, and my daughter had her Thyroid removed. I just can t get relief not sure what to do. Thank you
