Itching In The Vagina, Spotting. Had Protected Intercourse. What Could Be Wrong?

I have been having sex with the same partner for a long time and have ways used condoms.. However, two days ago we didn't use a condom. He is both long and has a wide girth. Now, I am very itchy in the opening of my vagina. I took a cool clean towel and attempt to wipe around. When I did, there was a VERY SMALL trace if bright red blood. VERY SMALL. It has never even showed on my underwear.
I just want to know if this is normal and if there is a way to relieve the itching?

Hello.First diagnosis to rule out is Bartholin gland infection.
Bartholin glands are located on both sides of the vagina and his function is vaginal lubrication.By now a hidrocortisone cream can improve your symptoms
but you must go to your doctor to examine you and confirm or exclude this
pathology.
I wish you good health.
