Hi!
Welcome to Healthcaremagic. com.

I have read your query in detail and do understand your concern.

Yes this could be due to sunburn or sunlight related dermatitis.

Hydrocortisone cream may be applied for 5-7 days.
continue to use sunscreen

This could also be due to seborrheic dermatitis or yeast related pityriasis alba.

For these, your dermatologist may prescribe antifungal or tacrolimus for treatment .

Hope this helps!

Good luck

Hello
Thank you for posting on HCM.
These skin lesions which you have described seems like suggestive of photodermatitis which an eczema caused by sunlight.
Apply mild corticosteroid like desonide cream for few days whenever she suffers from such eczema.
For prevention keep using sunscreen regularly.
Try to wear clothes which provide adequate cover to the body.
Use hat or cap while going out in sun.
Hope the information was useful.
Take care

White patches on the face which are dry could suggest the possibility of PIityriasis alba. It occurs as a result of deficiency of multivitamins in diet. Syrups containing multivitanins may also help. Also deworming with albendazole will also help as worm infestations are also common in children suffering from pityriasis alba. Also emolients are also useful.Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy.Regards.
