Is Weight Gain A Side Effect Of Doxycycline Monohydrate ?
I have been taking Doxycycline Monohydrate 100mg for approximately 1 year. I have experienced weight gain, even though I work out 5 times a week for an hour, doing Zumba & walking 3+ miles a day. I even added a Step class. Is weight gain an unwritten side effect of this drug???
No, it is not mentioned that weight gain is a side effect. It can be due to stress, behavior and activity and it is BMI index which decides if one is obese or not. There is a possibility you may fall in within normal limits. Join 'Art of Living' OMBW course. It can take care stress, behavior and activity which all cause obesity. You may replace Doxy with other medicines. Consult your physician, AST method for drug can be used.
