Is Vaginal Spotting A Sign Of Pregnancy?

hi, i think i might be pregnant. just need some advice. my menstrual cycles are every 28 days and last 7 full days. theyve never been late or irregular. last march 15 was my last regular period. on april 19th it was a weeek late and lasted 3 days and was light. it skipped in may and on june 14th i had a few spots of light brown. now its july. am i pregnant?

Thank you for your query.
If you were sexually active during the middle of cycle, it is possible to be pregnant.
Few women experience spotting when pregnant but it is not considered normal

I recommend :
- a home pregnancy test. See your OBGYN with the results even of negative.
-of positive, you will need antenatal care, folic acid supplements and an ultrasound scan to make sure your baby and you are fine
-if negative, blood tests (TSH, complete blood count, estrogen levels), and an ultrasound scan to check for ovarian cysts.

Based on the above results, a treatment plan will be initiated, if necessary.
Please see an OBGYN as soon as possible. Spotting during pregnancy may mean a threatened abortion.
