Is Vaginal Bleeding Normal While On Dienogest For Adenomyosis?

I am taking Dienogest started June 26,2016 due to Adenomyosis with adenomyoma, then on july 20,2016 I started to have a spotting and on July 21,2016 I started to have a menstrual flow like my ordinary period..Is is normal? I am 43 years old. Thanks. Bless

I can understand your concern.
No this is not normal.
At your age, abnormal vaginal bleeding should be investigated to rule out uterine anomalies like adenomyosis, cancer, polyp etc.
So better to consult gynecologist and get done transvaginal ultrasound to find out the cause.
You may need cervical biopsy to confirm the diagnosis.
