Owing to stretching of the skin due to the enlarging uterus, itching can be observed as there is dryness also in addition. You can get relief by applying olive oil and/or moisturizing lotions to the umbilical region. Please see that the umbilicus is cleaned properly with antiseptics, if any local infection is suspected. The improved vascularity along with thinned skin can make the vessels prominent. Nevertheless, it is always advisable to watch for hepatic dysfunction. Hope this helps.
