Is Tubal Ligation A Safe And Effective Form Of Birth Control?

Hi,I would like to know what are the side effects of tubal ligations I have been researching and there s a lot of bad and serious side effects they also said that doctors won t tell you the truth can you please tell me.

The most important serious side effect is the "REGRET" as this is a permanent contraception. Reversal is extremely difficult and expensive procedure; so is the Invitro Fertilisation(IVF) techniques.
Apart from this, there are some intraoperative complications reported; but with advancement in medical sciences, these are rare.
Sterilisation failure is very less and comparable to long term hormonal contraceptives.
The other serious complication is ectopic pregnancy but that is also a rare one.
