Is Total Sperm Count Of 26.6ml/ejacu Normal?

Hi I am Mohammed, Age 37 height 5 8 . Our marriage has completed 8 months. Our semen Analysis report is volume = 0.75 ml, Viscosity = High,Liquefaction time = complete in 1 hrs, sperm count = 38 million/ml, total sperm count = 26.6 million/ejacu Motility Active = 15%, non progressive = 10%, Non Motility = 15% and Morphology normal = 40% , Abnormal = 60% Pus cells = 2-3 /hpf, RBC s = 1-2 epithelial cells 0-1 Spermatogonic cells - 02% Please suggest the treatment

Hello Mohammed,

Thanks for posting in HCM.

After going through the semen analysis report you have put across, the following things can be noted:
1. Semen volume is slightly less than normal
2. Physical characteristics like viscosity is high and liquification time is a bit longer than normal.
3. Sperm count is near to normal.
4. Sperm motility is grossly less than normal.
5. Morphology of sperms which are normal is also less (40%).
6. Other features says that there is no infection.

With these features, the fertility seems low.

You can take medications containing L-carnitine, alpha-lipoic acid, CoQ10, Vitamin E, Selenium, Zinc and Vitamin C for a month and re-test your semen sample. If your sperm motility and sperm morphology improves, then it is good sign that it improves your fertility.
