Is Tingling Sensation In Toes With High BP And Cholesterol Levels A Concern?

I recently was diagnosed with a stroke in my right eye due to high blood pressure 187/97 from extreme stress. All my life I have had low BP. Other testing revealed 249 cholesterol so now I am on meds for these conditions. my question is that my middle toes on my left foot have been tingly and feeling strange. I had this sensation along with pain in big toe prior to stroke in eye. Could there be a connection? Could it be heart related?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi thanks for posting on hcm.
Th tingling sensation is an impending sign of stroke other symptoms such as blurred vision headache weakness in the limbs feeling dizzy.
I advise you to take medications regularly as you already had an attack of stroke which keeps you at increased risk for further strokes. Keep an eye on the above mentioned symptoms and if yoh experience any immediately do rush to ed for help.

Tingling sensation is not related to heart, symptoms such as chest pain with sweating vomiting radiating to jaw or arm fainting are concerned with heart
h ope this is helpful to you .
Regards
