Suggest Treatment For High BP And Headache

Hi I am experiencing sudden dull headaches with borderline increase in BP ( 140/90). 3 days back sudden onset repeated with tingling sensation in left hand. Thereafter observing sudden bulging of vein for temporary period although mild numbness/tingling sensation continues.I have doctor appointment after 2 weeks. Do I need to see him before, hope its not serious.

Hi

I had gone through you query.

Hypertension or elevated blood pressure is the commonest cause of headache.

Regulation in blood pressure will reduce it,take anti hypertensive medicines regularly with exercise.

Analgesic can help to control headache as when require.

For better assessment following investigation can help.

1st thing is require is fundus examination.It will shows any papillodeama that suggest raise in interracial tension.
2nd Ct scan/MRI brain will helpful to rule out any pressure producing lesion or space occupying lesions.

Consult your physician and get help.
