Is There Any Surgery To Cure Degenrative Disc?

Is there a surgery that you can get to help for degenerative disc? If you have been diagnosed with having a cervical rib, your symptoms prior to were the numbness and tingling feeling You get in your hands is now intermittent would it be suggested to have it removed or not? If you had a surgical procedure that was to help you, but you still have the symptoms but not as often, the effects Of the surgery caused neurological damage who would be responsible?

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the degenerative disc requires various management guidelines depending upon the symptoms present. Various types of surgery as surgical fixation of adjacent discs taking care of nerves, conservative approach with cervical collar and others.

The side effect profile and possible consequences are to be narrated to the patient and relatives before proceeding and hence the responsibility does not go to the surgeon`s part if everything is explained and the patient gives consent to proceed with due risk.
