General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Nexpro RD (esomeprazole + domperidone) is combination of a proton pump inhibitor and an anti-emetic drug commonly prescribed in the treatment of stomach ulcers, gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other acidity related disorders. Generally it is well tolerated however on prolonged use it may cause osteoporosis ('bone thinning'), vitamin B12 deficiency and increased risk of intestinal infections.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
