General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, Thanks for the query through HCM virtual clinic. Dinapar injectible has side effects like allergy./gastro intestinal upset with epigastric pain, nausea, diarrhea, / stinging, pain & delay in healing/ photo sensitivity, blurring vision/ insomnia, tiredness./ keratitis at site of injection. You are taking it less frequently, just once / twice a month. You do not complain of any side effect. Actually Dynapar is the simplest medication for MIgraine .You are relieved with the dose. SO you can continue with it.( If you have black pigmentation at injection site, you can try with pills ). Please be on guard for side effects .. the moment you have it consult your doctor for other drug( ergotamines/ tryptans ) Thanks.
