General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Zapiz is a benzodiazepine commonly prescribed to treat certain types of epilepsy and to relieve panic disorders like unexpected extreme fear and tension due to stress.

Its common side effects include drowsiness (sleepiness), muscle weakness, fatigue, gait disturbances, loss of recent memory, tolerance, dependence, and breathing difficulties. It should not be used for more than four weeks.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
