Is There Any Other Alternative To Relieve My Father's Pain As He Is Suffering From TOS?
Hi, My father is 88 yrs. old and suffers with TOS. He's been in pain for a couple of days now. Takes meds. that just knock him out. He hasn't eaten much because he sleeps all the time. Is there any other alternative to relieve his pain so that he can eat and drink?
I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS A MONEY MAKING SCAM. GIVE PEOPLE FALSE HOPE. THANKS ALOT!
Please do mention about the cause of TOS. Medicines which put your father to sleep are most probably opiods, meaning that the disease is quite advanced.
The main problem is his nutrition, which if not given properly could result in further deterioration of his health. I would suggest you to go for TPN meaning Total Parenteral Nutrition which should take care of his needs for a while , till the doctors can subdue the TOS pain
Giving him very strong painkillers have their own side effects and harm.
I hope my suggestion was of help. Good luck.
