Is There A Chance Of False Negative In Urine Test For Pregnancy?

Hihi I always have my. Around the 20th of the month and that was February was the last time I had one and now it is April 7th and I took a urine test at the doctor s office the other day 3 days ago 3 days ago and it was negative and I was wonderingI could be pregnant and it not show up on the urine test at the doctor s office thank you.

Hi Dear,
You might get a false-negative if you:

1) Take the test too early: It takes around one week for hcg level (which is detected by putting a urine drop on a strip) if checked before that then it will show false negative
2)Check test results too soon: Be sure to give the test time to work. Consider setting a timer according to the package instructions.
3) If one has used diluted urine. For the most accurate results, take the test first thing in the morning — when your urine is the most concentrated.
There are few percentage chances always will be there in this type of kits.
Now its more than 5 weeks so it is advisable to do the confirmatory test like USG for the conclusion.
