Is The Pink Circle On The Stomach Related To Lyme Disease?

I ve got a pink circle (1 inch ) to the right of my stomach that s looks similiar to a lymes disease symptom. I ve got itching around my waist but not on the spot itself. I ve had the mark for 10 days and it seems lighter than when I first noticed it. Should I be worried?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you have been exposed to risk for Lyme, such as being bitten by a tick or you were camping in areas that are known for Lyme disease, then it is best to see your doctor and take antibiotics prophylactically.

Lyme disease should be treated with the smallest suspicion. This is due to the fact that blood tests take a while to come out positive and show the infection and one should never wait for confirmation of infection to treat it.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
