Is The Pain In Groin Area Due To Side Effect Of Lyrica?

I have fibromyalgia, peripheral neuropathy and interstitial cystitis. I m on narcotic pain meds and have recently started Lyrica. Currently, I m having severe pain in my right hip/groin area when I rise from a sitting position ir when I lie on my left side in bed. I can hardly stand up. It feels like it s catching or locking. Is this the IC or is this a side effect of the Lyrica?

I cannot diagnose, prescribe or treat without being there. That being said the main point is that a medication that is given orally is going everywhere. There is no mechanism for it to seek out one spot to cause pain. Many things can cause groin pain and an exam will show which are likely. Groin muscles can be sore and then they are sore to the examiner's touch. The bladder is not so easy to touch on a standard examination as muscles and this distinguishes the two sites as associated or not with groin pain.
