My husband occasionally will try to say something and he can t talk or what he says doesn t make sense. He knows what he wants to say but can t say it. He is 79 years old. Two years ago when he had this problem he went to the emergency room. They did a brain scan, MRI and other tests. All tests were fine. He saw a neurologist who prescribed Clopidogrel 75mg once a day. He also takes Amlodipine 5 mg and Lisinopril/HCTZ 20/12.5mg once a day for Hypertension. He doesn t smoke or drink alcohol, is not overweight and has no other health issues.
