Is Tetanus Shot Needed For Scratched And Bleeding Finger With Metal?
Hi, I just scratched my finger with a thin piece of metal from the bottom of an old trunk I picked up off the street. It lightly bled. I quickly thoroughly cleaned it. I don't know when my last tetanus shot was. Could have been many years ago. I did have the series when I was a child. The cut did not go deep.

'Injury from a metal sheet of an old trunk taken from the street', there is no doubt that you should have a tetanus toxoid vaccination taken. Injury need not be so deep, you have mentioned that it bled, it warrants a vaccination. Also your last tetanus toxoid vaccination was a few years back.
