Is Taking Susten Recommended During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 8 weeks preg. And in my 6th week my doc advised me susten 100 twice daily. Mine is normal pregnancy with good HCG levels and no spoting ever. Is it ok to take this medicine as I feel very dizzi and nauseating most of the time since I have started this tablet orally.

Susten is a tablet containing progesterone and is generally considered safe in pregnancy.
It's given to many patients who have had abortions in the past.

If you have any history of abortions in past, you should continue with the drug.

It can cause nausea and dizziness in some cases. You can discuss about alternative routes of taking this tablet. Vaginal preparation is also available.

I would also like to tell you that it has negligible side effects on fetus. So not to worry about that.
