Is Taking Tramadol Safe For Pain In Knee And Sciatica?

I have sciatica pain and knee pain. I was given codomol, but it gave me severe stomach pain. I have now been proscribed tramadol. However, I!m in a lot of pain, pain killers don t seem to be working. My Dr told me to come back next Tuesday if no better, don t think I could take the pain for a week. Would appreciate any advise, thank you.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if taking Tramadol safe for pain in knee and sciatica. Well tramadol is safe for pain in your case , but i would also suggest you to apply warm compresses and do light stretching exercises under expert , also take proper rest . Physical therapy can help alot in relieving pressure from nerve . If condition doesn't get better then consult orthopedic surgeon again . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant along with anti inflammatory and nerve supplement for quick healing . Doctor may also recommend surgery incase of severe damage .
