Hi,I am 25 year old and currently breastfeeding my 14 month old baby.I didn't get my periods started yet since the delivery of my child.doctor has prescribed me to take duphaston twice daily for 10 days for periods to get started.my question is will the tablet affect breastfeeding or decrease in milk supply and is this tablet safe to take?
Duphaston is safe during breast feeding and will not affect your breast milk production. Neither it is harmful to the baby. During breastfeeding its normal to have menstrual irregularity. No need to worry.
