Is Taking Daliresp Advisable While On Atenolol And Ranitidine?

I have serious doubts about usinng Daliresp due to side effects. I am a 72 yr old male with COPD Stage 4, hypertension(treated), AFib (treated with Flecainide), glaucoma, and arthritis. I am currently taking atenolol for heart rate, montelucast, the aforementioned Flecainide, ranitidine for mild stomach upset, a diuretic, and Eliquis for blood thinner.

Hello,

Yes, Daliresp may be taken along with Atenolol and Ranitidine as prescribed. Daliresp (Roflumilast) is prescribed to prevent worsening of symptoms in people with severe COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).

There is no harmful interaction if Daliresp is taken along with Atenolol and Ranitidine. So, it may be taken as prescribed by your doctor.

However, taking Atenolol along with Flecainide may have additive effects. Consult your doctor if you experience dizziness, slow or irregular heartbeats, fainting, or palpitations. You may need a dose adjustment or special tests to safely use both medications

There are no documented harmful interactions between other prescribed medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
