Is Taking Amrix And Topamax Safe For Restless Leg Syndrome?

After a fall almost 3 weeks ago my chronic back problem (spinal degenerative changes in L4 & 5 that press on nerves) has flared up and the pain lately has been unbearable at night. To add to my distress my restless leg syndrome is acting up. I have samples of Amrix and Topamax which the Physiatrist gave me several years ago. I was considering using one of them to see if at least it could control the restless leg sx. I am waiting for a referral from my family doctor s office. Back problem has been stable for 5 years and my Physiatrist has moved out of State.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is better to get done the MRI if you have not done this if this is unremarkable then you can try some potent analgesic like narcotic, it would be much better if you can bear the pain and come out of this condition with just NSAID and best is Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
