Is Swelling Behind The Knee A Symptom Of A Baker S Cyst?

Hi, I m having a lot of pain in my left knee, I have a big bulge behind the knee (bakers cyst??). I had a knee brace on most of today and just took it off and it seems the bump has moved down a little behind the knee. Should I see someone right away? I have an appointment with my orthopedic dr.

Hi,

You may be having baker cyst behind left knee. Diagnosis can be confirmed by local ultrasound of the popliteal area. It is not an emergency and you can visit orthopedic surgeon as per your appointment. If it's paining tablet Aceclofenac can be taken for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
