Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
First of all, with heavy bleeding, iron stores to be checked and if they are less, then iron supplementation is to be used. A fibroid has multiple treatment options right from hormonal therapy to surgical.
There is a simple myomectomy procedure, in which the only fibroid is removed. My suggestion is to consult the gynecologist for more information and management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
