Is Surgery Needed For The Thyroid Nodule In The Throat?

Hi Doctor, I am 29 yrs old and I have got a thyroid nodule in throat(post c-section delivery).Doctors advised me not to go for treatment now and it might need a surgery after a decade. Is there any natural way to cure it? Or what treatment should i take to cure it.

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.

If you are iodine deficient you can start on iodine supplementation and will decrease the size of the nodule

The routine tests that we do is Ultrasound thyroid and needle biopsy. If the reports are ok we can delay the surgery.

Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further queries I will be happy to help you.

Regards,
