Is Stiff Neck A Side Effect Of Amlodipine Besylate

I have been taking Blood Pressure med. for 1 week...yesterday and today my neck is very stiff...Amlodipine Besylate....Naturally this is Saturday and the Dr. will not in in till Monday...I was not going to take the med. tonight....as maybe feel better tomorrow... My neck is really hurting.. Thank You, Patti

I am sorry to hear that you are having neck stiffness after taking amlodipine. This is not a usual side effect from taking amlodipine.

I recommend that you take Tylenol for the pain. try gentle range of motion exercises. moist heat and if possible massage to reduce the neck spasms
