Is Sore Breast And Back With Missed Period Sign Of Pregnancy?

Hey there I stopped taking my contraceptive pill 6 weeks ago. I had a pill bleed after taking my last pack but have not had a proper period since! Took a couple of pregnancy tests after four weeks from my last period, it's is now just over five weeks from the first day of my last period? I feel like in having pregnancy symptoms but could I just be imagining it because were trying? Really bugging me! Don't know I took the test too early? I'm the lady few days my breast have become more sensitive, really sore lower back, feel like I'm going to get my period and haven't? Then the last couple of days have noticed I can smell sweaty smells and burning?

Hi,
Return of ovulation after stoppage of pills happens in one or two months. The absence of a period until now could perhaps be due to the time delay in returning to the natural hormonal milieu. You can get an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres to exclude/confirm pregnancy. A trans-vaginal sonogram can also be helpful to clarify the situation. Your symptoms are not specific for pregnancy and pregnancy is unlikely so soon, they could also mean an impending period. Hope this helps.
