Is Smoking Marijuana During Pregnancy To Stop Vomiting Safe?

I have a friend that is pregnant she smokes marijuana because it stops her from vomiting she is due in 8 weeks and has stopped and is in fear that they hospital will take her baby is that true? is there any other methods to stop her vomiting? Zofran dont work
