Hello I am 19 years old and have just been prescribed hydroxyzine pamoate for anxiety. I also regularly use cannabis for the same thing but it seems to increase sometimes. I would like to know if smoking cannabis while also taking hydroxyzine pamoate has any life-threatening side effects such as prolonged QT syndrome or anything with your cardiovascular health. I am a bit worried about this but I do have anxiety and I just want to be safe so I don t kill myself or potentially kill myself because I enjoy smoking marijuana from time to time usually every day. I currently take one 25 mg pill 2 times a day as needed. My blood pressure is a little elevated so I don t know if this is going to play any factors but it is not hypertension yet.
