There are reported drug interactions that can affect the efficacy of your birth control as well as cause serious effects like convulsions, and hence it is advisable to avoid drug abuse. These types of birth control medications can be affected by cytochrome involvement and many of these drugs may decrease the effectiveness of birth control. In addition marijuana use may change memory and inhibition, also effecting birth control methods. Kindly avoid it while you are on birth control measures.
