Is Skunk Odor Dangerous For Children?
Is skunk odor dangerous for children? We have a skunk living under our house and she is active at night with the smell waking me up 3 floors up. Our children s room is on the bottom floor where the smell is the worst. They seem to sleep through it but I m wondering if its toxic or harmful for them to be breathing it in all night. Thanks for your thoughts

The odour is neither dangerous nor harmful. The skunk releases the odor for self defence.
The spray from the anal scent gland can cause skin irritation and temporary blindness and it is advisable to remove them from the living quarters.
