Is Skin Discoloration And Hard Lump Normal After An Injury Of Leg?
I took a line drive to my leg, just to the inside of my shin while playing softball. It bruised and was swollen. The bruise has healed but there is a discoloration left and a hard lump under the skin remaining. It is warm to the touch, painful, tingly/numb, and itchy. It has been two month since it was injured. Is this normal?
Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got injury to your shin and you got hematoma. If you has no fever, then no need to worry much. Hematoma gradually resolved by itself .Thrombophob gel local application three times a day over it(no rubbing) can help in resolving it. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
