Is Sex Advisable Post Removal Of Stent And Catheter From Kidney?
In January iwas operated for kidney stone afteer 10 days stent was removed. After 4 days profuge bleeding was occurred admitted again in hospital again stent was left and catheter was fitted. Doctor advised to go for prostate surgery as bph has occurred. I was reluctant for surgery and stopped going for particular doctor. After 1 month catheter was removed and after 10days stent was removed.now I am feeling good. Now after 11days I want to go for old routine. Like chicken beer and sex.Kindly advise.
As the catheter and stent are removed and so far no complications have occurred, you can have sex. You can eat non vegetarian food. As you have BPH, you may have some problem with erection and sexual drive. If you notice any changes, please do consult a urologist for further evaluation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
