Is Red, Growing Dot On Eye Pooling At The Bottom Of Cornea A Cause For Concern?

Yes, I woke yesterday with a small red dot in my eye, later the dot grew and the next morning it looked like the blood had pooled at the bottom of my cornea (the white of my eye). Is this common? Does it require medical attention? Is there a treatment to rid the eye of this condition?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having sub-conjunctival hemorrhage producing this problem.
This can be due to some irritation or some foreign body fallen in eye.
Go for measuring your blood pressure, many a time raising blood pressure might cause this hemorrhage.
Nothing to worry, within 2-3 days it will be absorbed.
Ok and take care.
